Henin +250

Won a boat load of sets in a row, not matches sets. Yes Serena won Oz open, but Henin pulled out of that. She ditched her boyfreind and seems to be load off her back.

Karlovic 125-1

When you have a serve like that you have a chance. been getting results.

Nice to see that Karlovic is on the other side of the draw to Federer.

Tailing you on this at Betfair hoping to lay off at the final stage or maybe a bit earlier.

Justine dialed in right now.

Ivo faces nemesis Clement in a few hours. Will wait for that one to see if he has made any leap forward.

odds not high enough for Henin, imo--this aint clay. She has never won this tournament, not surprising as others have game more suited for this surface. Serena is in her quartet--on grass if Serena brings the 'a' game Henin does not beat her. That said, last yr Wimbledon powers that be slowed this tournament down sighnificantly--this aint traditional grass tennis anymore. Hence we see the likes of a player who plays 3 FEET BEHIND THE BASLINE, never comes to the net and plays with severe top spin--REACHING THE FINAL (Nadal of course). It's lunacy. The slower speed gives your Henin play a much greater chance at winning.

Rail you mentioned you had a futures bet on Serena (in the Roland Garros thread, you mentioned you had her at +700) You have taken both futures?? They are, as noted, in the same quartet.

by a few reports Amelie is playing wonderful at the moment, especially her serving

Good stuff Hope.
LY Nadal had a dream draw. Didn't face one formidable opponent until the final. Won't happen this year.
Watched part of Amelie last night and she certainly gave an injured Petrova some chances.
Chakvedatze playing as well as anyone and has a favorable draw in the womens.

Great match between Henin-Mauresmo today. The wind was rough, but definitely a back and forth affair. Henin gutted out a 75 67 75 win.

Hope,
Petrova was hanging in and lost the first set 7-5. She then withdrew with a shoulder injury as a precaution. From what was said on the telecast, it was more a look forward to Wimbledon than a real serious injury. Of course, the fortnight can be long and nagging injuries don't help. Petrova is a throw out to win in my eyes anyway.

Chakvetadze looked good and beat Jankovic to win the tournament.

I have to look at the draw closer to see if there are any who might slip through the cracks. Right now Fed and Justine are my two picks to win, but there is very little, if any, value with them. Someone like Chakvetadze appeals to me to go to the semis at least.
